Relationships are not one size fits all and neither should couples therapy. While the goal in couples therapy is to help each member feel understood, respected, and loved, how each couple gets there is a different journey. I utilize Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, to assist couple in understanding the negative cycle that causes ongoing challenges in the relationship. We work to understand each partners unmet needs and gain perspective on the importance of these needs. With my guidance the couple will learn effective ways of communicating and working to reach a stronger connection.
